Kauai's Great Weigh Out
2006 "Me 2" Companion Program
The Me 2 program is designed for individuals who are not on a Weigh Out Team and who want to participate individually in this healthy lifestyle challenge. It is open to all residents of Kaua`i 18 years of age and older.
Participants will:
- Be encouraged to participate in all KGWO activities
- including: hikes, fitness classes, walks and
- educational classes
- Keep a daily physical activity and nutrition log
- Earn points to win exciting prizes
- Receive a FREE Me 2 T-shirt**

Teams
No formal team. Participants will be grouped into section teams according to mailing address.
Registration
$10 per person; to be submitted with registration form. Bring the completed forms along with your $10 registration fee by Feb.15, 2006 to:

Pre-Registration
Pre-register from January 3 - February 15, 2006. You will receive
10 bonus points and be entered in raffle on opening day. (Must be present to win)
Medical Clearance
Get required medical clearance and screenings done. 12 hour fast required. Complete the required medical clearance
form. This can be done at your own doctor or you may qualify to use a Ho'ola Lahui Hawai'i/Kaua'i Community Health Center Clinic. Call ChaCha at 240-0192 for information.
Team Meeting
No team meeting. Orientation meetings scheduled at Kick Off event at Kukui Grove on March 4, 2006.
Kick off Event March 4, 2006
Fun activities, entertainment, food and much more! Attend orientation meeting at 9:00 am or 1:00 pm. Pick up your t-shirt***, information packet, log books, and join us for orientation and fun activities on:
Saturday, March 4, 2006 Kukui Grove Shopping Center at 8:00 a.m. Attend one of two scheduled Me 2 Orientations. The first orientation is at 9:00 a.m. and the second one is at 1:00 p.m.
**Pre-registration is January 2, 2006 through February 15, 2006.
Participants who have incomplete registration or register after the February
15 will receive their t-shirt later in the program.
Incentives
Earn points to be exchanged for Great Prizes at the end of Phase one.
