Kauai's Great Weigh Out 2005 Activities and Events Calendar
Mahalo for participating in Kauai's Great Weigh Out for 2005. An important aspect and reward for the program is the ability to earn "Fit Buck$". Fit Buck$ may be earned from Saturday, March 5, 2005 until 12 noon, Friday, April 29, 2005. There are prizes for the 2 teams who earn the most Fit Buck$. In addition you can use them to win levels of prizes calculated at the Weigh Out on April 30, 2005.

Fit Buck$ can be earned in several ways:
1. Participate in as many Weigh Out events as possible throughout the 8-week program with a maximum of two fitness options on any given day plus any additional special events listed on any day.
2. Bring guest(s) to Weigh Out events. Me Toos, Seniors Too and Kids too participants CAN be guests. The guest(s) must be able to actively complete the particular event. You will receive 1 Fit Buck for every guest you bring, up to a maximum of 5 per event. The listing below includes information on all the events in the KGWO program. So check the schedule of events and plan to participate in them.
3. Eat lots of fruits and veggies. At least 3 servings of veggies plus 2 servings of fruit per day is recommended.
You can earn up to 2 Fit Buck$ per day which should be recorded in your Nutrition/Activity Log:
5-8 fruit/veggie servings per day = 1 Fit Buck
9 or more fruit/veggie servings per day = 2 Fit Buck$
4. Exercise at least 30 minutes a day which is in ADDITION to your participation in scheduled Weigh Out events.
You can earn up to 2 Fit Buck$ per day which should be recorded in your Nutrition/Activity Log:
30-59 minutes of exercise = 1 Fit Buck
60 or more minutes = 2 Fit Buck$
